Social Network - Linkedin

This is kind of strange on a very popular social network site that It delivers somehow wrong information to its users.

Did you ever post a link or something on Linkedin, then on the next day you noticed that the view of that post is so much huge? and then that makes you happy?

Actually, on linkedin the post views count does not mean that your contacts have actually clicked on the link and have view it. It delivers something else.

On linkedin What happens is, it just counts the total number to times your post has been loaded on the page on others home page. irrespective of the user has put some attention to it or not.

You can confirm this by posting a link after taking it short URL from google url shortener preferably with an image. because mostly people put attention to the images than to text. Next day or after some time check what google shows and what count does linkedin show.

At some point linkedin is showing Okay count. but same time it conveys wrong message to the one who posted it because it counts even if your post loaded when it is not on the view able screen.
