Feeling of Rejection

As human beings we have a strong need to feel secure. But after you’ve been rejected your sense of security is threatened, you may feel abandoned, scared and / or hopeless.

It’s no wonder that these feelings can so often lead to insecurity. You may be wondering when the next 'blow' with bad news and painful emotions will come and from which direction.

Rejection knows no bounds, invading social, romantic and job situations alike. And it feels terrible because "it communicates the sense to somebody that they're not loved or not wanted, or not in some way valued," explains Geraldine Downey, Ph.D., a professor of psychology at Columbia University whose research is focused on rejection.

It's important that you don’t start to worry about feeling 'fragile' as well - under the circumstances it's normal to feel vulnerable. And that sense of impending doom will eventually disappear.

Criticism and rejection are very much part of life - everyone gets criticised and rejected!

But..., just in case it has happened once too often, you may want to have a look at my relationship test. It can help you to judge whether or not it is time to leave or what you can do to improve it.

The Science Behind the Hurt

The human experience of rejection goes back to our ancient roots, says Winch, who is the author of "Emotional First Aid: Practical Strategies For Treating Failure, Rejection, Guilt, and Other Everyday Psychological Injures" (Hudson Street Press, 2013). He has a chapter in his book dedicated specifically to rejection.

"When we were hunter-gatherers and living in tribes, the price of ostracism was pretty much death," Winch tells HuffPost. "You wouldn't survive without your tribe; you wouldn't have the warmth of hearth, the protection of fire." Therefore, he explains, we developed an early warning system -- the feeling of rejection -- to alert us when we might be at risk for ostracism. The more painful the experience of rejection, the more likely humans were to change their behavior to avoid ostracism, and be able to survive and pass on their genes. Meanwhile, "those who didn't experience [rejection] as painful were less likely to correct [their] behavior and pass along their genes."

And then there's the fact that humans are social animals -- which makes rejection all the more emotionally painful.

Windows 10 Now

As I mention earlier, Change is good for you. Accept it quickly.
SO NOW
Here is a change!
for those using windows
Windows users can now upgrade to windows 10 for free. but within some limited time. so do it quickly.

You have one year from the launch to accept the free upgrade to Windows 10, so you must do it before 29 July 2016. After you have accepted the free upgrade, there is no further charge for the life of the device. It remains to be seen whether Microsoft will offer any deals after the deadline, but Windows 10 costs £99.99 or $119.99 from Microsoft. Other suppliers may sell it for less.

Windows 10 is “Windows as a Service” and it is frequently updated from the cloud. You can download Windows 10 and keep it on a DVD or USB stick, which is handy if you need to upgrade several PCs. However, the download will soon be out of date, so that is not a long-term solution.

Windows 10 has a cloud-based authentication system, so you must install the upgrade before 29 July 2016. If you miss the deadline, Microsoft’s servers will not authenticate the free upgrade and you will be asked to pay.

Microsoft is not giving away copies of Windows 10, just offering to upgrade existing licences for Windows 7/8/8.1 to Windows 10 for free. If you want to run two versions of Windows, you have to buy two licences.

Getting authenticated

The correct procedure is to install Windows 10 as an in-place upgrade, after which Microsoft’s online servers will authenticate it automatically. Once Windows 10 has been authenticated, you can do a clean installation from a USB stick or DVD, and that will also be authenticated automatically. (There is a possible workaround.)

However, following user complaints, Microsoft changed things with Windows 10 version 1511, the Fall Update released last month. This can be activated using the Windows 7/8/8.1 key from your laptop: it’s probably on a COA (Certificate of Authenticity) sticker.

To check, go to Settings, select Update & Security, and then Activation. If it says, “Windows is activated” then you are OK. If not, change the product key to your old Windows 7 key. If the worst came to the worst, you would have to ask for a phone activation, or re-install Windows 7 from a backup and then install Windows 10 again.

go back to Windows 7

Yes, if you act within 30 days. Go to Settings, select Update & Security, and click Recovery. This allows you to go back to your previous operating system, which has been stored in a “Windows old” folder. Windows eventually deletes this to save space.

Note that the Windows 10 Fall Update is a new version of Windows 10. When it’s installed, the earlier version of Windows 10 becomes the new “Windows old”. After that, you can’t simply go back to Windows 7/8/8.1.

Blood Makes you Relatives not Family

Blood makes you relatives but loyalty makes you Family

Loyalty isn't grey. It's black and white. You're either loyal completely, or not loyal at all.
Never take the side of anyone against the Family. this shows you are not loyal to the Family. means you are just one of the blood relative. and when someone from your blood related and loyal person will know his/her heart would be broken.

Data Scientists

Data Scientists-‘The Czar of the Modern World’

The Harvard Business Review claims Data Scientist as one of the sexiest jobs of the 21st century; and yes the term itself beholds quite vim and vigor as Data Scientists are getting hotter for better.
The Data Scientist title has been around for less than a decade and the term was coined in 2008 by Dr. DJ Patil, Chief Data Scientist White house of Science and Technology Policy and Jeff Hammerbacher, Chief-Scientist, Cloudera. They described it as a rare species being chased by startups and big technology companies alike for their ability to make sense of large and complex set of information. No wonder its demand is rife and served as a booster for their salaries that have shot through the roof. The Data Scientists are no less than big guns as their sudden prominence portrays that even the bigwig’s and startups now need to comb huge volumes of data for information that is critical for the success of an idea or business.
The Data Scientists are no less than big guns as their sudden prominence portrays that even the bigwig’s and startups now need to comb huge volumes of data for information that is critical for the success of an idea or business. The ecommerce companies who are quite ubiquitous in India have also realized their worth. The chief technology officer of Flipkart, Amod Malviya mentions that ‘Data is a large asset that is often not used to its full potential in most organizations. There is a huge amount of technology investments that we can make in this area’. No wonder the online retailer generates terabytes of data every day and is now building a data science lab that can help them sell better. The big technology trend is to make systems intelligent and data is the raw material.

Here are Five reasons why Data Scientists are Hot:

1. IBM & HP's of the world pouring Billions of Dollar-Yes, they are the new ‘Honcho’s’

To meet growing client demands in today’s data intensive industries, IBM has established the world’s deepest and broadest portfolio of Big Data and Analytics technologies and solutions, spanning services, software, research and hardware. Fueling this is the fact that IBM has made a multi-billion dollar investment in big data and analytics — $24 billion since 2005 through both acquisitions and R&D — to extend its leadership position in this strategic market. HP and GE on other hand each invested over $1 billon in big data. The big data and analytics market will reach $125 billion worldwide in 2015, according to IDC. So if you have any doubt if Big Data is only a buzz word think twice!

2. Demand Supply Gap- Greet the sexy beast!

From tech startups to Fortune 500 companies, data scientists are a hot commodity. A McKinsey study predicts that by 2017 the U.S. could face a shortage of almost 200,000 people with “deep analytical skills.” No surprise, then, that they boast an eye-popping average starting salary of around $120,000. People with the necessary skills are scarce, primarily because the discipline is so new. But, the situation is rapidly changing, as some universities around the world have started to offer different kinds of masters programs in data science. This year, for example, New York University is offering Master in Data Science, and Aegis School of Business & Telecommunication in association with IBM has launched Full Time and Executive Part Time Post Graduate Program (PGP) in Business Analytics and Big Data, India's first holistic Data Science program.

“Presently, there are only 10,000-15,000 analytics and data experts in India, and there will be a shortage of two Lacs data scientists in India over the next few years,” CEO of Fractal and a member of the Analytics Interest Group, Srikanth Velamakanni.

3. Its Money Raining- The hunt for Unicorn Data Scientists are in the making!

Mobile commerce player Paytm is hiring a team of eight data scientists in Canada, paying on an average $250,000 (Rs 1.5 crore) each. "The team will look at the large amount of data we have from different angles. For instance fraud detection, up selling and such," said Vijay Shekhar Sharma, founder of One97 Communication which owns Paytm. "If a person paid Rs 60-70 Lacs is offered Rs 1.2 crore, then no one in the marketplace will touch him for a while," said Gattu, chief operating officer at Gramener. At least four senior industry professionals said Flipkart, Snapdeal, Amazon and Walmart were among the companies waving fat pay packets to top data scientists.

A data scientist is a job title for an employee or business intelligence (BI) consultant who excels at analyzing data, particularly large amounts of data, to help a business gain a competitive edge.

Salaries for chief data scientists with over 10 years of experience in mathematics and statistics are regularly touching the Rs 1 crore mark; as mentioned in Economics Times. Forget the complex Data Science skills, market has become so crazy that even candidates with 1 to 2 years experience in Hadoop alone are making 7.5 to 10 Lacs a year.

Unicorn Data Scientist are the upgraded version of our racy data scientists but are a little hard to hunt and are compensated more than $200,000 per year. Even if our desirables don’t know how to code, all thanks to the rising data science tide that has lifted the compensation of all other data analytics professionals, according to a latest survey!

4. Data Scientists are Supermen with Crystal Ball- Aren’t they big cheese!

Data Scientists are super men who tell stories out of the data, respective of the size of data: big or small. They answer questions like what's happening. What will happen? What we should do now? These are termed as BI, Predictive analytics and Prescriptive Analytics. They use statistics, Machine learning, NLP, R, Python, Hadoop, Spark to create Crystal Ball to predict future, solve business problem or find out the missing opportunities. Snapdeal, which has over 20 million subscribers and generates terabytes of data through the interactions that happen with customers in addition to a catalogue of over 5 million, churns 15 million data points (related data set like a consumer shopping on specific days for a particular thing) within two hours, using Hadoop. About 35% of its orders come from recommendation and personalized systems, and the conversion rate of such orders is 20-30% higher than normal orders, the company claims.

5. With Data Science you can finally be a Rock Star!

If you weren’t homecoming royalty in college, it’s time to wipe away your tears. From Google to Twitter, IBM to Snapdeal the hottest tech and E commerce companies are clamoring for data scientists. President Obama has appointed Dr. DJ Patil as Deputy Chief Technology Officer for Data Policy and Chief Data Scientist in the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy. As Chief Data Scientist, DJ will help shape policies and practices to help the U.S. remain a leader in technology and innovation, foster partnerships to help responsibly maximize the nation’s return on its investment in data, and help to recruit and retain the best minds in data science to join us in serving the public.

2015 Year In Search

A review of 2015 year is released by most of the social networking sites.
Google releases its wonderful review in pictures and a video.
The one I liked the most is: this one

You can see a lot of other from google plus hash tag #YearInSearch

Explore the year's biggest moments and the questions they inspired.

Google posted here a list legends we lost in 2015

The strangest thing, about which I came to know by Ellen only is The Dress. It's a cute dress by the way. and strangest thing is. It was posted on twitter only. no site no blog.

This is wonderful list.

Accept the Change

Change is good or not good, Accept it quickly. It is good for you.

I don't feel myself as a opposition of accepting the change. but recently I noticed, I am not very good in that also.
Everywhere, everyone is now using smartphone. but I was not until now.
I used to have a simple Nokia phone, it was smart phone but I didn't use its smart features. Because it was a cheap phone and those smart features does not work in that phone as should be.

Well, I had all other smart devices in daily use, like smart TV, iPad, smart watch etc but not the phone which i now feel is the most important thing.
Recently, I noticed a big fall of some great companies just because they did not "Accepted the Change". Those companies were keep on following their own old ideas with this moto:
We are a successful company since N number of years. And we earn this success with our own ideas. Why should we change that now.
They forgot that the change is required nowadays to keep on running.
Now, I tell you why I was not using any smart phone before. Because I like small screen and Nokia phone. Nokia did not launch any successful smart phone with small screen that's why I was not iPhone or any other smart phone. All of them were coming with big screens and I like small ones.
When I noticed that, iPhone 5 screen was smaller than iPhone 6 then I feel Its a Change in peoples choice that's why all the successful smart phones are coming in big screens. So ...
The very next day I had iPhone 6s in my hand.

Well, Change is always good in our lives. It makes us happy. If we accept the change quickly we don't sob for long on the sudden unhappy thing happen with us

Changes can be hard but necessary, and a change of scenery can re-ignite your interest and motivation.

Accept the things you cannot change; have the courage to change the things which you can; and have the wisdom to know the difference. Changes can be hard but necessary, and a change of scenery can re-ignite your interest and motivation.
Understand that people change and sometimes they are not compatible with our lives. We just have to learn to Accept the Change and move on.
The biggest setbacks I commonly see are when people are starring in the face of change. Whether it’s unexpected or they just run out of options, when you force change on someone their whole turns upside down.
The biggest fear of change is usually not knowing what will happen next. Unsettling routines, changing locations and making someone expand beyond their known world spells disaster for many.
If we’re honest with ourselves, we know that making the change will be the best for us moving forward. The simple key is silencing the “what ifs” and making it happen.
The are no quick tips or twelve steps. Say, yes! Then quickly put action to what you’ve been avoiding.
Why fight it? It’s time to make life happen!

Node.js - MEAN stack

This is just another learning material on Node.jd which I recently gone through and liked it a lot.

Node.js is one of the most revolutionary web‐focused development frameworks to come out in quite a while. Its asynchronous nature and flexibility makes it relevant for building everything from Web applications to client tools, and since it is based on JavaScript, if you're already comfortable with the JavaScript language you can be productive with Node.js right away.

It is a workshop, online webinar "Jumping Off the Deep end of Node.js" with Kevin Griffin

In this workshop, you'll learn how to build a Web application from start to finish using MongoDB, Express/Kraken, AngularJS, and Node.js (the MEAN stack). Topics covered include building model classes, connecting to MongoDB with Mongoose, securing a site with Passport, building a shopping cart with AngularJS and Node.js RESTful services, creating controllers and routes with Express and Kraken, binding data to views using Dust.js, and much more. If you're looking to learn the ins‐and‐outs of Node.js then this course is for you!

Secure Your Computer

Did you ever happen to see this kind of message when browser over internet?

or did you ever feel the luckiest person when you read a sudden message that you won a lottery or something else.

just like the below one

If your answer is Yes, then you are one of stupid fellow internet user.

you should have to train yourself to use internet.

This kind of message is actually a threat which might install something serious on your computer then all of your personal data might be stolen or lost.

So, be careful when you are using internet.

You might be thinking if this is a threat, then how does this gets your location which says "Canada" for example and how does it knows you are using Chrome.

Well, that is quite simple for website developers. everything is available with a single dot. so don't get upset of their customized message. Just do not click any button and quickly close the browser tab or window.

Good Luck!

and happy browsing.

Session Alternatives

Session alternatives

  1. Cookies
    1. More scalable
    2. Free memory on server
    3. Persist. Does not delete after session expires.
    4. Mostly not enable in client browser
    5. More security risk than sessions it can be tracked by any virus. Use encrypted.
    6. Limited in size 4kb max
    7. Has to send to server with each request. Bandwidth cost increases.
    8. Can be delete by user/browser/any automated system. Limit is 20 cookies per domain.
  2. Querystring
    1. Cannot transfer lot of data
    2. Old asp way to communicate
    3. Security issue
  3. URL rewriting
    1. but it cannot be used for identification values or ids
  4. Viewstate
    1. Cannnot be used to communicate between pages.
  5. Hidden fields
    1. Cannnot be used to communicate between pages.
  6. Profile properties
    1. It also uses a session identifier along with database
    2. It remains after user leaves
    3. Similar as our tempt able but only difference is it is asp.net default mechanism
  7. Forms authentication with session id only and keep everything in the database.
    1. Scalable method
    2. By default store data in database.
    3. Data does not delete when session expires. Or web app restarted.
  8. Previous page directive. Or previous page references.
    1. This can be used only for postback urls changed to different url.
    2. A lot of code has to be written.
  9. Sessions

Cookies like sessions too, could be easily read. For sensitive information, better use Forms or Windows authentication. The most reliable way to keep user's information across sessions is to store them to database on server. You can do it manually, but it is usually more efficient to use Profile properties.

Profile properties also persist between sessions. Unlike cookies, data are stored on server side (in Sql Server database by default). Profile properties work with both authenticated and anonymous users and even support migrating of data when anonymous user log in.

Node.js for Dummies

I started to learn Node.js ma be five months back. Then by October I had enough knowledge to write something for beginners about Node.js, AngularJs, NPM but I could not have time for that. Something then put me in terrible busy days So I was not at all able to do so.
It happens with me or may be with many others, They want to learn a lot of things in a very less time at first GO. With me it happens always.

advertisements
As I am a Technologist. and for us - computer related professionals this is high requirement to keep us up to date. If we will not we will be finish. and in today's world I think it is applicable for everyone.
We should have to accept the change very soon to absorb lots of thing quicker.
So, Node.js is not very New now. but this is not late to get updated about technologies.
I am posting here few good tutorials:
Node.js, in the simplest most basic terms, is a framework to develop server-side applications through JavaScript.

In comparison to most other similar technologies, node.js is extremely well suited at doing things that send a lot of messages from one user to another, such as chat clients, Twitter-like services, game servers.
It is used for developing applications that make heavy use of the ability to run JavaScript both on the client, as well as on server side and therefore benefit from the re-usability of code and the lack of context switching.

Node.js is only an environment; you have to do everything yourself.

Node.js is pretty interesting because it uses Javascript. This is useful for two reasons. First, having the client side and server side code written in the same language creates convenience for writing interactive websites. Second, because browsers are so competitive, there are many fast implementations of Javascript, Node.js runs very quickly.
Here is a tutorial

Node is getting popular as a server-side platform and is used by IBM, Microsoft, Yahoo!, Walmart, Groupon, SAP, LinkedIn, Rakuten, PayPal, Voxer, and GoDaddy and many more.

Here is another Node.js tutorial.

I will very soon write about my own experience on using Node.js.

How to Save Skype Video Messages

It happens that you received a video message on skype. You watched it and after some you tried you watch the same message again but it did not play.
Or when you watch the message you liked it and you wanted to save this.
But it did not because at some specific time it got expired.

There is a way you can save it. and can share it.

Following is the easy way to save it.
  • Step 1: Go to the link http://sourceforge.net/projects/sqlitebrowser/files/latest/download and download SQLite Database browser.
  • Step 2: Open SQLite Database Browser
  • Step 3: Open main.db for your skype account in SQLite Browser. That you can find from following location:
    C:\Users\[YourUserName]\AppData\Roaming\Skype\[YourSkypeID]\main.db
  • Step 4: Go to Browse Data
  • Step 5: Change the drop down option for the Table: to VideoMessages.
  • Step 6: Under Author column, search for the sender id who send video.
  • Step 7: Copy the link in vdo_path.
  • Step 8: Paste the link in Chrome or any other browser address bar.
  • Step 8: Right Click on the video, and save it.

Please note, you should have play the video in the skype first before open the main.db in SQLite.

Social Network - Linkedin

This is kind of strange on a very popular social network site that It delivers somehow wrong information to its users.

Did you ever post a link or something on Linkedin, then on the next day you noticed that the view of that post is so much huge? and then that makes you happy?

Actually, on linkedin the post views count does not mean that your contacts have actually clicked on the link and have view it. It delivers something else.

On linkedin What happens is, it just counts the total number to times your post has been loaded on the page on others home page. irrespective of the user has put some attention to it or not.

You can confirm this by posting a link after taking it short URL from google url shortener preferably with an image. because mostly people put attention to the images than to text. Next day or after some time check what google shows and what count does linkedin show.

At some point linkedin is showing Okay count. but same time it conveys wrong message to the one who posted it because it counts even if your post loaded when it is not on the view able screen.

by Steve Forte

There are many people around here wants to start their own business they should keep in mind that:
If you are thinking of doing a startup, remember you can’t do it alone. If you are non-technical, you can’t outsource your core intellectual property. Besides if you can’t convince a techie with a well paying and stable job to quit and work at your high risk venture for free, then well, you probably don’t have enough sales skills to convince customers to buy your revolutionary new product.

JollyChic.com - Reviews on Purchases from Dubai UAE

When I visited this site very first time. I was amazed to see so much varieties of the dress and colors. So I cannot stop myself to buy some.
I bought dress online from jollychic.com only because of the different varieties of colors they have. I like knee length flowy dresses. So I spend a lot of time first to choose the best color and dress. I purchased around eight (8) dresses from this site with different cute colors. Most of the dresses I choose were from Friday sale so the price I paid was actually less than the original price.
After the purchase, First thing I thought was. Oh! This was my first order. I should have take advantage of their promotion that on First order 30% Off. This 30% off is based on each item not a total.
Anyways I purchased, paid so I did not return. Although as per their policy you can return within 24 hours before it has prepared. I did not knew this thing so I did not return.
Then, I keep on waiting to see the dress.

The delivery time was OK. It was delivered 2 days late as per actual delivery time.
Now, I opened the parcel. Take out dresses one by one. I was SURPRISED to see that the quality of the dress was not so good as compared to the price.

Here are a few reviews I noticed.

Quality

For example, There was one dress the price was 99.9 AED. but the quality of the dress was so bad that similar kind of dress you can easily find in UAE in less than 50 AED. The dress actually looks like hardly of 40 AED only. and I paid 99.9 on this website. For this particular dress I was so amazed because this was the dress I choose out of sale price and I paid full amount. With this price you can find better dress in Splash, MAX, ZARA OR ANY OTHER store in UAE.

Fit

The other thing, I noticed in almost all the dresses was: The size. The Size, I ordered was Good for me. I used to buy same size here. but from this site. except one all dress are smaller and too much fit.

Price

EXTREMELY TOO MUCH. The price as compared to quality is not worth. Here in UAE you can easily find a dress much better than on this site. If you are ordering dress from UAE I SUGGEST do not order because the price on this site are extremely high as compared to the quality.

Length

I suggest order one Extra bigger. If you think 30 INCHES length is ok for you, go for the next close and available length. Like if 32 is available or 33. if not available then choose another dress. either it would be too long or too short.

I can say is that the size of the dresses mention in the site is very different than the actual is. For example 34 length they menion and i measure it is less than 30.

A Little About Chess

I am not a Chess Master but I love to play and know what my brother told me about chess i.e. a few tricks and all the right rules of playing chess.

I want to be a Chess Master. I wish If my brother could live a little long so that I would too. Yes, my brother was a Chess Champion and won lots of Chess Championship from school till college, then he couldn't live.
I used to play Chess online and tried to learn from the experts, but those who knows how to play chess and know more tricks than me, they don't want to play with me - with someone who is kind of a beginner. and I don't want to play with someone who knows less than me.
I was exploring on Chess and I found few things for those who want to play chess. Here they are listed.

Thirty Rules of Chess

TEN OPENING RULES

  1. OPEN with a CENTER PAWN.
  2. DEVELOP with threats.
  3. KNIGHTS before BISHOPS.
  4. DON'T move the same piece twice.
  5. Make as FEW PAWN MOVES as possible in the opening.
  6. DON'T bring out your QUEEN too early.
  7. CASTLE as soon as possible, preferably on the KING SIDE.
  8. ALWAYS PLAY TO GAIN CONTROL OF THE CENTER.
  9. Try to maintain at least ONE PAWN in the center.
  10. DON'T SACRIFICE without a clear and adequate reason.

For a sacrificed pawn you must:

  1. GAIN THREE TEMPI,
  2. DEFLECT the enemy QUEEN,
  3. PREVENT CASTLING,
  4. BUILD UP a strong attack.

TEN MIDDLEGAME RULES

  1. Have all your moves fit into definite plans.

    Rules of Planning:

    1.    A plan MUST be suggested by SOME FEATURE IN THE POSITION.
    2.    A plan MUST be based on SOUND STRATEGIC PRINCIPLES.
    3.    A plan MUST be FLEXIBLE,
    4.    CONCRETE, and
    5.    SHORT.

    Evaluating a Position:

    1. MATERIAL
    2.    PAWN STRUCTURE,
    3.    PIECE MOBILITY,
    4.    KING SAFETY,
    5.    ENEMY THREATS
  2. When you are material AHEAD, EXCHANGE as many pieces as possible, especiallyQUEENS.
  3. AVOID serious pawn WEAKNESSES.
  4. In CRAMPED POSITIONS free yourself by EXCHANGING.
  5. DON'T bring your KING out with your OPPONENT'S QUEEN on the board.
  6. All COMBINATIONS are based on DOUBLE ATTACK.
  7. If your opponent has ONE or MORE pieces EXPOSED, look for aCOMBINATION.
  8. IN SUPERIOR POSITIONS, to ATTACK the ENEMY KING, you must OPEN a file (or less often a diagonal) for your HEAVY PIECES (QUEEN and ROOKS).
  9. IN EVEN POSITIONS, CENTRALIZE the action of ALL your PIECES.
  10. IN INFERIOR POSITIONS, the best DEFENSE is COUNTER-ATTACK, if possible.

TEN ENDGAMES RULES

  1. To win WITHOUT PAWNS, you must be at least a ROOK or TWO MINOR PIECES ahead (two knights excepted).
  2. The KING must be ACTIVE in the ENDING.
  3. PASSED PAWNS must be PUSHED (PPMBP).
  4. The EASIEST endings to win are PURE PAWN endings.
  5. If you are ONLY ONE PAWN ahead, EXCHANGE PIECES, not pawns.
  6. DON'T place your PAWNS on the SAME COLOR SQUARES as your BISHOP.
  7. BISHOPS are BETTER than KNIGHTS in all but BLOCKED pawn positions.
  8. It is usually worth GIVING UP A PAWN to get a ROOK ON THE SEVENTH RANK.
  9. ROOKS belong BEHIND PASSED PAWNS (RBBPP).
  10. BLOCKADE PASSED PAWNS with the KING.

Code - Compile And Run

For programmers, a lot of time they needed to execute a small code snippt. Just to make sure if their logic will work fine or not. For the same sometimes they needed to either create a sample page, sample project or execute the whole application a 100 times for complex logic. Here I will talk about the string manipulation for example. or regex test.
I have found a quite nice site to compile and execute a small piece of code just to check if it is ok or not. then once all is ok we can put it in out actuall applicatin and test the actual flow. That saves our lot of time.

Here is the site https://www.codechef.com/ide

SAN - Storage Area Network

SAN (storage area network) is a high-speed network of storage devices that also connects those storage devices with servers. It provides block-level storage that can be accessed by the applications running on any networked servers. SAN storage devices can include tape libraries and disk-based devices, like RAID hardware.
Here are a few advantages of SAN:

Scalability

SAN has many advantages over DAS in your data center. Here are 10 reasons to consider making the leap from local storage to a SAN.
If you know, or have heard, one thing about a SAN, it's scalable. What does scalable mean? SAN scalability means that you don't have the limit of a handful of disks that you can attach to a system. SANs can grow to hundreds of disks in size, whereas your server has a physical limit of about a dozen.

2. Performance

SAN performance isn't affected by Ethernet traffic or local disk throughput bottlenecks. Data transmitted to and from a SAN is on its own private network partitioned off from user traffic, backup traffic and other SAN traffic.

3. Data Isolation

There's no chance of your data being copied or stolen by anyone sharing the same SAN with you. Not even the SAN admins can see your data. When correctly configured, SAN data is zoned. These zones protect your data from everyone else's on the same SAN. An example of SAN zone separation is how UNIX servers can connect to a SAN and Windows servers connect to the same SAN, but the data that each group of servers accesses is different. In effect, Windows systems can't "see" UNIX data and vice versa.

4. Uptime

There's nothing quite like a SAN to assure 100-percent storage availability. SAN systems require no reboots to add new disks, to replace disks or to configure RAID groups. The ability to stream data between SANs for data backup and recovery also increases performance by bypassing server systems completely.

5. Workload Isolation

Zoning also separates your workloads from one another on a SAN. Not only is your data protected by zoning, but it also provides a barrier against other non-related workloads from affecting your application's performance. Sharing a SAN isn't a performance problem for applications when zones are in place.

Long Distance Connectivity

SANs have the advantage over all other storage connectivity for distance at 10km (about 6 miles). Not that you'll necessarily use that distance capability, but it's there if you need it. Having the advantage of distance allows you to consolidate your storage into an isolated location dedicated to storage and separate from the systems it serves.

7. Increased Utilization

Rather than hundreds or thousands of partially utilized local disks wasting power and generating heat in your data center, you could have dozens of SAN disks have no wasted space on them. How so? Thin provisioning on the storage side (i.e., on the SAN) uses space more effectively than local storage does. As a system requires more storage, the SAN allocates it dynamically. Yes, this means that physical systems can enjoy thin provisioning just like your virtual ones do.

8. Bootable

Despite the benefit of more fully utilized disks, as highlighted in advantage No. 7, you do not need to use local disks for the server operating system. It's possible to run diskless physical servers and boot directly to the SAN for your operating system, swap space (pagefile), and all applications. That's right, just like virtual machines.

9. Centralized Management

If you have SAN arrays from several different vendors because your data center has grown over the years, stress not, SAN vendors have created software management tools to manage your heterogeneous environment with ease. But, better than multiple vendor management capability, all of your SAN environments can be centrally managed from this single interface. This capability provides efficient and centralized storage management.

10. Disaster Recovery

The cost of a SAN is high. As you can see, there's no entry for SAN being a particularly frugal technology in this list. However, in the case of disaster recovery, a SAN can and does earn back its high price by providing a speedy recovery when the clock is ticking. A SAN is a reliable and fast data recovery solution. Server systems might go offline, but the SAN remains available.

Choosing SAN, NAS, or DAS
But newer developments are changing the picture, pushing NAS up the performance scale and SANs down the cost curve, in some ways blurring the performance line between these two technologies. The arrival of iSCSI SANs is driving down the cost of SANs. The iSCSI protocol is a serial implementation of SCSI that aligns with IP packets. While operating at slower speeds and offering lower throughput than Fibre Channel, iSCSI uses standard networking gear, can operate over long distance for remote backup, and is easy for network administrators to understand and manage. However, because of its better performance, Fibre Channel is still the preferred technology for most data center applications.

This becomes clearer by contrasting SANs with another networked storage technology: NAS Network Attached Storage. While both NAS and SAN provide remote access to storage devices via a network, the similarity ends there. In technical terms, the primary distinction between the technologies is that NAS operates at a file level while SAN operates at a block level.

You have to dig somehow more into this topic.

My Overall Experience of Buying Online

I like shopping. It might include online shopping, I am based in a city where this is somehow a newly introduced trained, and that's why I feel like it is a big risky.
For most people, purchasing a something online without physically viewing the product can induce a lot of stress and fear. This is especially true if you are not accustomed to e-commerce and online shopping.
Here is UAE, there are a lot site getting introduced to purchase online. But the problem is those who are starting this business are not fully aware of how to showcase their product so that customers can buy them without hesitation.
In UAE souq.com is quite famous and can say that this is the very first very successful online shopping site in UAE.
I do not know how and why did it get such a big popularity. The problem is, some products which are available on this site are not available in any other store. That's why when people see them over the online store they cannot wait to buy it. and when the product becomes very popular then it comes in the market.
But souq.com doesn't know how to display the item. For example: they are selling a dress, you will see only ONE picture of that dress and i.e. the front side of the dress, which definitely is not enough for the customers to buy it. same goes for bed sheets. for electronic items: they are not displaying all the details which user want to know before buying.
I bought a few items electronic items from souq.com and few household. Then because of the bad experience, I, now stopped to buy anything from souq.com.
When I buy online, I want to see each and every details of the product.
Then Few month ago, I came across a website not based in UAE that was jollychic.com, they are showcasing their products quite nicely. I though OK, nice. the reviews seems to be good. products appears to be good. OK buy it.
I did. I bought some dresses. Items got delivered. They were good but not as mention or look on the website. I am not satisfied and because it was shipped from china I cannot return them. returning will be quite expensive.
If I calculate a lump-sum of how many things I bough online, my overall experience would be Not So Good.
Here I am giving a chart.  I am giving ranks from 0 to 10. from 5 to 10 are good and less than 5 are worst experience.
This list has only few items i have purchased.

Television Programs

There are some really nice TV programs that you can watch online anytime, no need to buy or pay for the channel. but yes might be some of them are not full length.

I was never in favor of Television at all rather I always hate it. because if you have it you mostly spend a lot of time in watching, time wasting things and like wise people says time is money that summarizes that you spend a big amount of money buying a TV then spend your precious time in watching unnecessary programs, which gives no benefit to you. so double wastage of money.
well, recently about 5 years ago I bought a TV and started watching National Geographic, Animal Planet and History kind of channels, I have become a fan of TV but only SMART TV. I still do not want TV channels. I do not buy channel license. I used to watch only few programs that I like or I like to watch movies.

I don't remember how did I first came across the very sweet youtube channel "The Ellen Show" very much entertainment. You never get bored of watching this show. She almost talked about everything.
Once she show something which I always see on youtube with a big number of viewers also have seen a lot time a TV ad of that program but never happen to clicked on it or watch it on National Geographic. That show was named as "Na ed and Afraid". Because Ellen was talking about it that means there's something about this. I clicked on ellen's video where she was talking about this show.
I watch it and I was like oh MY God! what the hell. Na ed and Afraid is a show on national geographic channel and there are a lot of other shows like this. what the hell! The youtube channel disabled comments on this video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yibMAnXVGoA then she once talked about some reality shows here : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jbIxszpx4ZA
then here she noticed a trend on TV, and she’s talking to her audience about it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lOOSbxosQxE

Women Clothing - White Coat or Blazer

Since a long time, and almost every day whenever I go for shopping I look for White Coat or Blazer for woman but always failed to find even a single. Actually there is no coat or blazer available here in white color. You can either find black or any other different color. Then recently I thought, Let's try to buy a white cute Blazer from online www.jollyChic.com but there also I was not able to find any single white blazer than can be were during daily routine work. Then I searched on google. I thought may be most of the women doesn't were white coat or blazers because I could find only a few.
I am listing a few of the ones that I find online.

I found mostly Korean style, which actually looks awesome. Basically, Korean women’s clothes for office are just like other types of formal clothes; clean cut with neutral tones, three pieces, shirts, blouses, suits and pencil skirts. The accessories may consist of neutral pumps, bags, scarves and maybe some classic jewelry pieces. However, Korean women love making their outfits as classy as possible, so there is no such thing as ‘underdressed’ among the women, especially young professionals.

Look, this is such a nice one but not available in white color.

General Interview Questions

I am just saving few good things here please read full article on themuse .com

1. Can you tell me a little about yourself?

This question seems simple, so many people fail to prepare for it, but it's crucial. Here's the deal: Don't give your complete employment (or personal) history. Instead give a pitch—one that’s concise and compelling and that shows exactly why you’re the right fit for the job. Start off with the 2-3 specific accomplishments or experiences that you most want the interviewer to know about, then wrap up talking about how that prior experience has positioned you for this specific role.

2. How did you hear about the position?

Another seemingly innocuous interview question, this is actually a perfect opportunity to stand out and show your passion for and connection to the company. For example, if you found out about the gig through a friend or professional contact, name drop that person, then share why you were so excited about it. If you discovered the company through an event or article, share that. Even if you found the listing through a random job board, share what, specifically, caught your eye about the role.

3. What do you know about the company?

Any candidate can read and regurgitate the company’s “About” page. So, when interviewers ask this, they aren't necessarily trying to gauge whether you understand the mission—they want to know whether you care about it. Start with one line that shows you understand the company's goals, using a couple key words and phrases from the website, but then go on to make it personal. Say, “I’m personally drawn to this mission because…” or “I really believe in this approach because…” and share a personal example or two.

4. Why do you want this job?

Again, companies want to hire people who are passionate about the job, so you should have a great answer about why you want the position. (And if you don't? You probably should apply elsewhere.) First, identify a couple of key factors that make the role a great fit for you (e.g., “I love customer support because I love the constant human interaction and the satisfaction that comes from helping someone solve a problem"), then share why you love the company (e.g., “I’ve always been passionate about education, and I think you guys are doing great things, so I want to be a part of it”).

5. Why should we hire you?

This interview question seems forward (not to mention intimidating!), but if you're asked it, you're in luck: There's no better setup for you to sell yourself and your skills to the hiring manager. Your job here is to craft an answer that covers three things: that you can not only do the work, you can deliver great results; that you'll really fit in with the team and culture; and that you'd be a better hire than any of the other candidates.

6. What are your greatest professional strengths?

When answering this question, interview coach Pamela Skillings recommends being accurate (share your true strengths, not those you think the interviewer wants to hear); relevant (choose your strengths that are most targeted to this particular position); and specific (for example, instead of “people skills,” choose “persuasive communication” or “relationship building”). Then, follow up with an example of how you've demonstrated these traits in a professional setting.

7. What do you consider to be your weaknesses?

What your interviewer is really trying to do with this question—beyond identifying any major red flags—is to gauge your self-awareness and honesty. So, “I can't meet a deadline to save my life” is not an option—but neither is “Nothing! I'm perfect!” Strike a balance by thinking of something that you struggle with but that you’re working to improve. For example, maybe you’ve never been strong at public speaking, but you've recently volunteered to run meetings to help you be more comfortable when addressing a crowd.

8. What is your greatest professional achievement?

Nothing says “hire me” better than a track record of achieving amazing results in past jobs, so don't be shy when answering this interview question! A great way to do so is by using the S-T-A-R method: Set up the situation and the task that you were required to complete to provide the interviewer with background context (e.g., “In my last job as a junior analyst, it was my role to manage the invoicing process”), but spend the bulk of your time describing what you actually did (the action) and what you achieved (the result). For example, “In one month, I streamlined the process, which saved my group 10 man-hours each month and reduced errors on invoices by 25%.”

9. Tell me about a challenge or conflict you've faced at work, and how you dealt with it.

In asking this interview question, “your interviewer wants to get a sense of how you will respond to conflict. Anyone can seem nice and pleasant in a job interview, but what will happen if you’re hired and Gladys in Compliance starts getting in your face?” says Skillings. Again, you'll want to use the S-T-A-R method, being sure to focus on how you handled the situation professionally and productively, and ideally closing with a happy ending, like how you came to a resolution or compromise.

10. Where do you see yourself in five years?

If asked this question, be honest and specific about your future goals, but consider this: A hiring manager wants to know a) if you've set realistic expectations for your career, b) if you have ambition (a.k.a., this interview isn't the first time you're considering the question), and c) if the position aligns with your goals and growth. Your best bet is to think realistically about where this position could take you and answer along those lines. And if the position isn’t necessarily a one-way ticket to your aspirations? It’s OK to say that you’re not quite sure what the future holds, but that you see this experience playing an important role in helping you make that decision.

11. What's your dream job?

Along similar lines, the interviewer wants to uncover whether this position is really in line with your ultimate career goals. While “an NBA star” might get you a few laughs, a better bet is to talk about your goals and ambitions—and why this job will get you closer to them.

12. What other companies are you interviewing with?

Companies ask this for a number of reasons, from wanting to see what the competition is for you to sniffing out whether you're serious about the industry. “Often the best approach is to mention that you are exploring a number of other similar options in the company's industry,” says job search expert Alison Doyle. “It can be helpful to mention that a common characteristic of all the jobs you are applying to is the opportunity to apply some critical abilities and skills that you possess. For example, you might say 'I am applying for several positions with IT consulting firms where I can analyze client needs and translate them to development teams in order to find solutions to technology problems.'”

13. Why are you leaving your current job?

This is a toughie, but one you can be sure you'll be asked. Definitely keep things positive—you have nothing to gain by being negative about your past employers. Instead, frame things in a way that shows that you're eager to take on new opportunities and that the role you’re interviewing for is a better fit for you than your current or last position. For example, “I’d really love to be part of product development from beginning to end, and I know I’d have that opportunity here.” And if you were let go? Keep it simple: “Unfortunately, I was let go,” is a totally OK answer.

14. Why were you fired?

OK, if you get the admittedly much tougher follow-up question as to why you were let go (and the truth isn't exactly pretty), your best bet is to be honest (the job-seeking world is small, after all). But it doesn't have to be a deal-breaker. Share how you’ve grown and how you approach your job and life now as a result. If you can position the learning experience as an advantage for this next job, even better.

15. What are you looking for in a new position?

Hint: Ideally the same things that this position has to offer. Be specific.

16. What type of work environment do you prefer?

Hint: Ideally one that's similar to the environment of the company you're applying to. Be specific.

17. What's your management style?

The best managers are strong but flexible, and that's exactly what you want to show off in your answer. (Think something like, “While every situation and every team member requires a bit of a different strategy, I tend to approach my employee relationships as a coach...”) Then, share a couple of your best managerial moments, like when you grew your team from five to 15 or coached an underperforming employee to become the company's top salesperson.

18. What's a time you exercised leadership?

Depending on what's more important for the the role, you'll want to choose an example that showcases your project management skills (spearheading a project from end to end, juggling multiple moving parts) or one that shows your ability to confidently and effectively rally a team. And remember: “The best stories include enough detail to be believable and memorable,” says Skillings. “Show how you were a leader in this situation and how it represents your overall leadership experience and potential.”

19. What's a time you disagreed with a decision that was made at work?

Everyone disagrees with the boss from time to time, but in asking this interview question, hiring managers want to know that you can do so in a productive, professional way. “You don’t want to tell the story about the time when you disagreed but your boss was being a jerk and you just gave in to keep the peace. And you don’t want to tell the one where you realized you were wrong,” says Peggy McKee of Career Confidential. “Tell the one where your actions made a positive difference on the outcome of the situation, whether it was a work-related outcome or a more effective and productive working relationship.”

20. How would your boss and co-workers describe you?

First of all, be honest (remember, if you get this job, the hiring manager will be calling your former bosses and co-workers!). Then, try to pull out strengths and traits you haven't discussed in other aspects of the interview, such as your strong work ethic or your willingness to pitch in on other projects when needed.

21. Why was there a gap in your employment?

If you were unemployed for a period of time, be direct and to the point about what you’ve been up to (and hopefully, that’s a litany of impressive volunteer and other mind-enriching activities, like blogging or taking classes). Then, steer the conversation toward how you will do the job and contribute to the organization: “I decided to take a break at the time, but today I’m ready to contribute to this organization in the following ways.”

22. Can you explain why you changed career paths?

Don't be thrown off by this question—just take a deep breath and explain to the hiring manager why you've made the career decisions you have. More importantly, give a few examples of how your past experience is transferrable to the new role. This doesn't have to be a direct connection; in fact, it's often more impressive when a candidate can make seemingly irrelevant experience seem very relevant to the role.

23. How do you deal with pressure or stressful situations?

"Choose an answer that shows that you can meet a stressful situation head-on in a productive, positive manner and let nothing stop you from accomplishing your goals," says McKee. A great approach is to talk through your go-to stress-reduction tactics (making the world's greatest to-do list, stopping to take 10 deep breaths), and then share an example of a stressful situation you navigated with ease.

24. What would your first 30, 60, or 90 days look like in this role?

Start by explaining what you'd need to do to get ramped up. What information would you need? What parts of the company would you need to familiarize yourself with? What other employees would you want to sit down with? Next, choose a couple of areas where you think you can make meaningful contributions right away. (e.g., “I think a great starter project would be diving into your email marketing campaigns and setting up a tracking system for them.”) Sure, if you get the job, you (or your new employer) might decide there’s a better starting place, but having an answer prepared will show the interviewer where you can add immediate impact—and that you’re excited to get started.

25. What are your salary requirements?

The #1 rule of answering this question is doing your research on what you should be paid by using sites like Payscale and Glassdoor. You’ll likely come up with a range, and we recommend stating the highest number in that range that applies, based on your experience, education, and skills. Then, make sure the hiring manager knows that you're flexible. You're communicating that you know your skills are valuable, but that you want the job and are willing to negotiate.

26. What do you like to do outside of work?

Interviewers ask personal questions in an interview to “see if candidates will fit in with the culture [and] give them the opportunity to open up and display their personality, too,” says longtime hiring manager Mitch Fortner. “In other words, if someone asks about your hobbies outside of work, it’s totally OK to open up and share what really makes you tick. (Do keep it semi-professional, though: Saying you like to have a few beers at the local hot spot on Saturday night is fine. Telling them that Monday is usually a rough day for you because you’re always hungover is not.)”

27. If you were an animal, which one would you want to be?

Seemingly random personality-test type questions like these come up in interviews generally because hiring managers want to see how you can think on your feet. There's no wrong answer here, but you'll immediately gain bonus points if your answer helps you share your strengths or personality or connect with the hiring manager. Pro tip: Come up with a stalling tactic to buy yourself some thinking time, such as saying, “Now, that is a great question. I think I would have to say… ”

28. How many tennis balls can you fit into a limousine?

1,000? 10,000? 100,000? Seriously?
Well, seriously, you might get asked brainteaser questions like these, especially in quantitative jobs. But remember that the interviewer doesn’t necessarily want an exact number—he wants to make sure that you understand what’s being asked of you, and that you can set into motion a systematic and logical way to respond. So, just take a deep breath, and start thinking through the math. (Yes, it’s OK to ask for a pen and paper!)

29. Are you planning on having children?

Questions about your family status, gender (“How would you handle managing a team of all men?”), nationality (“Where were you born?”), religion, or age, are illegal—but they still get asked (and frequently). Of course, not always with ill intent—the interviewer might just be trying to make conversation—but you should definitely tie any questions about your personal life (or anything else you think might be inappropriate) back to the job at hand. For this question, think: “You know, I’m not quite there yet. But I am very interested in the career paths at your company. Can you tell me more about that?”

30. What do you think we could do better or differently?

This is a common one at startups (and one of our personal favorites here at The Muse). Hiring managers want to know that you not only have some background on the company, but that you're able to think critically about it and come to the table with new ideas. So, come with new ideas! What new features would you love to see? How could the company increase conversions? How could customer service be improved? You don’t need to have the company’s four-year strategy figured out, but do share your thoughts, and more importantly, show how your interests and expertise would lend themselves to the job.

31. Do you have any questions for us?

You probably already know that an interview isn't just a chance for a hiring manager to grill you—it's your opportunity to sniff out whether a job is the right fit for you. What do you want to know about the position? The company? The department? The team?
You'll cover a lot of this in the actual interview, so have a few less-common questions ready to go. We especially like questions targeted to the interviewer (“What's your favorite part about working here?") or the company's growth (“What can you tell me about your new products or plans for growth?")
